Ωραία δωμάτια, μέτριο πρωινό πολύ ευγενικό προσωπικό. Το προτείνω ειδικά σε αυτούς που θέλουν ησυχία ή ταξιδεύουν με το τραίνο. Πολύ κοντά στο μετρό. Και απέναντι από τον σταθμό των τραίνων. Αρκετά οικονομικό και ιδανικό για οικογένειες.

Excellent location! It is right next to Larissa Station so it is very easy to take the train from the airport to the hotel as it is not even a block away. It is also next to the national train line (which is right at Larissa Station....just on the other side of the street) which makes it very easy to access other cities from this location. The breakfast was all you can eat and the rooms were warm and clean. There was even a refrigerator. The staff was very kind and helpful. They provide you with a map of the city which also has the metro lines on it. I highly suggest getting a trip pass for the metro so you can go anywhere you like in the city. Ermou st. is the best place to shop for clothes FYI. There is also a laundromat about 4 blocks from Hotel Socrates which was also very convenient for us. Would stay again!…

Personally, this place ticked all the boxes. It was close to Athens main railway station & all Metro lines. It was quiet in the mild, balmy, evening. Breakfast included was more than satisfactory for the day ahead. Staff were friendly, courteous & v helpful; football on big screen TV; baggage storage facility available; rooms were ideal, iron available. Great value price; I travelled Europe with Interrail and this was by far the best hotel I used. Fellow travellers, in Athens choose Socrates. Bon Voyage

had a great deal on booking.com that made this hotel the cheapest in athens for 2 person - and with breakfast too! booked the double room and got the triple room on the 6th floor. the room is spacious and clean, but is undoubtedly old and can do with some renovation. but then again, if they spend money on renovation, staying there wont be so cheap. best thing about the hotel is its location. we reached athens at night and the hotel was extremely easy to find - almost right outside larissa station. the wifi worked well in the reception. we basically got way more than what i would've expected for the price we paid. i'd stay here again if all i need is a place to sleep (which is mostly the case when i travel). so much better than staying in a hostel

Very nice hotel, and friendly staff, the room area is acceptable, the balcony is good view, also the breakfast is good, I had a great time in this hotel... the hotel is very near from metro station so I think the best way to arrive to this hotel by Metro,

Amazing staff, the rooms where cleaned everyday and were a fair size. Very cheap accommodation but its a lovely hotel and also its location great. Its a 2 minutes walk to metro station. I would gladly stay here again.

States here for 4 nights. It's clean and the bedroom was nicely decorated, although could do with updating the bathrooms. A stone's throw from Larissa Station with a few good restaurants nearby. Breakfast is typically European but ok. Staff are lovely

Good location, only 15 minutes from city center by metro. Larissa station is about 100 m from hotel. Rooms are clean, with balcony,staff is friendly, breakfast is basic, but good. Good value for money.

There's a metro station near the hotel, which was very convenient. On the wall there was a list of the most popular phrases (Good morning, Hi, etc.) in Greek with English translations.

The breakfast was very limited and I struggled daily to try to find a way to eat.
